Since our inception 15 years ago, we've been making the impossible, possible. From introducing the first CCD technology driven Tea Colour Sorter to Sri Lanka to introducing Sri Lanka's first automated continuous withering machine in 2016, Rannara Engineering has become the largest technology integrator to the tea industry of Sri Lanka. And we're just getting started.

Under new ownership since January 2016, we've set off to transform ourselves into the most dependable, innovative, and trusted tea industry technology partner to our customers. In the past 1 1/2 years, we've introduced the new NANTA XPEDIA range of colour sorters - the NO. 01 seller in 2016, introduced an AUTOMATIC CONTINUOUS WITHERING MACHINE that will undoubtedly revolutionize manufacture, introduced the world class Forbes Marshall TEAM BOILER to the tea industry of Sri Lanka, and the globally revered Panasonic solar technology enabling our customers to take advantage of the lucrative buy back agreements offered by the National Grid.

We work as one tam, with one future. With a team of over a 100 years and 3 generations of cumulative tea industry expertise, a blend of youth and industry specific knowledge, Rannara offers a full-spectrum of capabilities rooted in a services mindset to meet the needs of our customers.

With each decade, the tea industry of Sri Lanka has met and overcome another challenge, and with each challenge overcome, Sri Lanka has set an example to the tea manufacturing origins of the world. The decade ahead will most certainly be no different and bring many new challenges. Most certainly the challenge of labor shortage and efficiencies, sustainable and affordable energy, and technology automation.
